I used Solar Eclipse to apply decorative window film in the lobby of a hotel to block the sight of construction going on outside. They assisted in the design, provided a very clear mockup and samples so I knew exactly what it would look like, installed the film incredibly quickly, had wonderful service, and were very reasonably priced. We chose the 3M Prestige 50 film and you can hardly tell it’s there except for the temperature difference. If you’re thinking of using window film, you should go with this company! As a commercial contractor, Solar Eclipse Glass Tinting is the only window tinting company I trust for my projects for the last decade. They are professional, on time, clean, and their work speaks for themselves. I do not even consider calling another firm for any reason. Use them without hesitation or worries.

Had some very large windows to cover and Solar made it very clear they would have to seam no matter the selection. We discussed and they recommended the method of seaming and where...and to this day it is hard to find! The tinting has greatly lowered the temperature in our very large family room and I would recommend to anyone.

We had their tech install 3M Night Vision window film on our palladium window and, even at the height of summer in Virginia, my family and I can feel the difference. We are scheduled to have them return in a couple of weeks to do all of the windows in our three-level home and can't wait. Jason helped install a "Smart Tint" product on an oversized window in our bathroom, a product that many tint installers are not familiar or comfortable working with. This was not the case with Jason as he had solid experience working with the material. Prior to installation, Jason was communicative, detailed, and punctual as we planned the project. The finished product is beautiful and we are grateful for his expertise. Highly recommend!

My wife and I have been putting off window tinting for two years primarily because of a very poor experience in our last home. We contacted Solar Eclipse Glass Tinting to get recommendations and quotes for our eastward facing windows in our home. The sales representative, Jason was both informative and very helpful. We shared our past experience with another company and he assured us both quality and professionalism. The quote we were provided was significantly less than we had expected and we contracted for nearly double the original work requested. The Solar Eclipse technician, Abraham, was at the house prior to the time quoted and ready to work with all of his materials, tools, and supplies. We found his work to be immaculate and extremely well done - we will refer Solar Eclipse to all our friends and neighbors.

Solar Eclipse is a great company. Many of the staff have been there for years and years. I have done numerous business dealings with them. About $20,000 on home products and thousands of dollars on cars that I have owned over 15 yrs. The last job they did on my four cars was EXCELLENT. Very happy with it and the price. Never had a problem with them, from product, to scheduling to payment. All companies should be like this. I do tell all my friends to buy from them. I am sure I sent many over the years. I needed a safety film installed on a bathroom window to meet code requirements in Montgomery County. Solar Eclipse came through with the best price, timely install and excellent follow-up. Highly recommended. Excellent price and service.

The company representative called me quickly, set up an appointment to come by, and arrived on time. He showed me the alternative choices had and explained the benefits of each. When I made my choice, he quickly performed the job and my tinted sliding doors are now filtering a good amount of the hot sun. Solar Eclipse installed the window film on the back of my house. I get sun all day and was worried about the furniture fading. I was really impressed with the service I got from the estimate to the install. I love the window film and would highly recommend these guys.

Big windows are great until the sun shines on them! After 3 years in the house we had to do something about the heat from the sun. I was worried about my couches and art fading.

About 2 weeks ago we had the 3M window tint put on our two story family room and foyer window. The windows were very large and I did not want to block the nice view of the woods. The two guys who came out for the installation were very professional and neat. They wore shoe covers and put down pads in front of each area they were working in.

I went with the Prestige product because I didn't want to darken up the room. Overall I am very happy with the product and would have Solar Eclipse do more work in my home.

I live in Stafford, VA and had the 3M film put on my windows. I chose the darkest film because of the glare issue in our family room. The film works great and I was amazed at how much heat is reduced. The room is much cooler now and we can watch television throughout the day. The installers who came out were very friendly and did a great job.

I had the 3M film applied to all my first floor windows in my home. I used the Prestige 70 film because it was the most clear. Overall I was happy with the look because it did not darken the rooms like I thought it may. The guy who came out for the estimate was Randy. He was very helpful and took a lot of time answering my questions. Two guys did the install and were very polite and experienced.
